Chemical composition of SA302GrC steel steel plate

SA302GrC steel belongs to manganese-molybdenum-nickel Alloy steel plate for pressure vessels. Adopting standard ASME SA302. SA302Gr series steel plate is divided into four grades, namely SA302GrA, SA302GrB, SA302GrC, SA302GrD. Different grades of raw materials can be selected according to different uses.

Chemical composition of SA302GrC steel (melting profile%)

SA302GrC plate has different element content requirement in different thickness as follows:

Thickness less than 25mm

C: ≤0.20, Mn: 1.15-1.50, P: ≤0.025, S: ≤0.025, Si: 0.15-0.40, Mo: 0.45-0.60, Ni: 0.40-0.70

Thickness ranges 25 to 50mm

C: ≤0.23, Mn: 1.15-1.50, P: ≤0.025, S: ≤0.025, Si: 0.15-0.40, Mo: 0.45-0.60, Ni: 0.40-0.70

Thickness over 50mm

C: ≤0.25, Mn: 1.15-1.50, P: ≤0.025, S: ≤0.025, Si: 0.15-0.40, Mo: 0.45-0.60, Ni: 0.40-0.70

SA302GrC alloy steel plates thickness: 5mm to 150mm

Delivery status: hot rolled, normalized, normalized + stress-relieved.

SA302GrC steel plate is commonly used in the production of reactors, heat exchangers, separators, reactors, and number one equipment in occupations such as petroleum, chemical, power plants, and boilers.
