Welded joint strength of Q345R steel plate and 20 steel plate steel plate

The tensile strength of welded joints of dissimilar steels is generally not lower than the requirements of low-strength base metals. The average tensile strength of welded joints between Q345R steel plate and 20 steel plate is 478.3 MPa, which is greater than the minimum of 410 MPa for 20 steels specified in GB/T 711. value requirements. The standard requires that in the weld seam and heat-affected zone on the tensile surface of the bending test specimen, there must be no single opening defect with a length greater than 3mm in any direction, and there are no crack defects on the surface of the surface bending and back bending specimens, which meet the requirements.

For carbon steel and low alloy steel, the standard requires that the average impact energy KV2 of steel welded joints with a tensile strength of 450~510 MPa>24J, and GB713-2014 requires that the impact energy of the base metal of Q345R steel plate>41J(O ° C, KV2 ), GB 711-2017.

It is required that the impact energy of the base metal of 20 steel plates should be > 34J (20°C, KV2), > 27J (-20°C, KV2). GB699-2015 high-quality carbon structural steel does not require impact energy requirements. The average impact energy (20°C, KV2) of the welded joints of Q345R steel plate and 20 steel plate, the side fusion zone of Q345R steel plate and the fusion zone of 20 steel plate are: 79.67J, 118.3J, 87.3J, which meet the requirements of relevant standards.
