The steel grades are "XG08", "WKS", "WDT0b" and XG08 steel materials. Its major feature is that the chemical composition of the XG08 material has a low content of C, Si, Mn, P, and S, such as C<0.08, Si≤0.03, which can effectively resist zinc corrosion.
The container that contains the zinc liquid during hot-dip galvanizing is called the galvanizing pot. The existing domestic hot-dip galvanized pots are generally welded with high-quality low-carbon steel plates such as thick 08F or 05F. However, because molten zinc is very corrosive to steel materials, the service life of the container is very short. Generally speaking, domestic hot-dip galvanizing pots have a service life of 3 months to 2 years.

The influence of various elements in galvanized steel strip on galvanizing:
1) Carbon: The higher the carbon content, the stronger the iron-zinc diffusion reaction, the greater the iron loss, and the thicker the alloy layer and the worse the adhesion. Generally use low carbon steel of 0.05~0.15.
2) Silicon: The high content of silicon will thicken the alloy layer, form a gray coating, and affect adhesion. Generally, boiling steel and aluminum killed steel with silicon content less than 0.07% are used as galvanized substrates.
3) Copper: The copper in the steel base can slow down the pickling speed, but has no harmful effect on the hot-dip galvanizing, and at the same time can improve the corrosion resistance. When manufacturing special-purpose corrosion-resistant galvanized sheets, the copper content is often selected 0.2~0.3% steel grade.
4) Titanium: 0.2% of titanium in the steel base has an important effect on galvanizing. Titanium is the main additive element in the production of low-alloy high-strength galvanized sheets. The presence of TiC and TiN in steel plays an important role in anti-aging.
