1. At the working temperature, the boiler steel plate should have sufficient strength, reasonable strength and toughness coordination, and structural stability, so that the wall thickness of the component is not too large to be easy to process, and it will not affect the heat transfer effect.

2. Boiler steel plate should have good cold and hot workability, especially good welding performance.

3. In addition to the use of high-quality raw materials in high-pressure boiler steel smelting, it is generally required to perform processes such as out-of-furnace refining and vacuum degassing to minimize harmful impurities such as sulfur, corrugated, tin, antimony, arsenic and the gas content, which woule purify the steel to avoid brittle fracture accidents.

4. Good macrostructure and surface quality. The former requires that defects such as white spots, visible inclusions and delamination are not allowed to appear, and the latter requires that defects such as cracks, heavy skins, folds, scars and delamination on the inner and outer surfaces are not allowed.

5. Boiler steel plate should have good thermal conductivity. It will have a better heat transfer effect for the heating surface tube, and it will have a faster temperature uniformity for thick-walled components.
